AdvoCare MRS Shake Protein Waffles ~ Recipe

AdvoCare Meal Replacement Shake Waffles

Did someone say WAFFLES?!?! It's a chilly morning here in Aggieland & I felt like some waffles this morning. It is just me here at home trying to get some work done so I didn't want to make a whole batch of waffles. I also wanted a healthier option to try. Let me tell you ~ I am pretty thrilled with my first attempt at Protein Waffles this morning! They were easy AND yummy!

Today I used some Celebration Cake Meal Replacement Shake that I had on hand. You can really use any flavor Meal Replacement Shake that might be your favorite! I also used 2 eggs and 3 TBS of water. That's IT! Poured the mixture in my waffle iron and cooked them just like I would cook regular waffles! They are quick and easy!

Check out the macros for the entire mix when they are made this way below:

The nutritional amounts are based on my data entered into My Fitness Pal. Using the entire mix makes 4 waffles ~ I need to be pretty hungry to eat 4 waffles though, 2 waffles are usually enough.

Update: Since the first time I made them I have also made them with fewer full eggs. The nutrition below is when the waffles are made with 4 egg whites instead of whole eggs.

You can see that it will obviously decrease your fat percentage. Some may notice the decrease in Cholesterol intake as well. That topic is for another blog post but there is a huge difference between Cholesterol you consume as opposed to blood Cholesterol for most people. There are options for using some full eggs and some egg whites as well!

For now I just wanted to take this opportunity to share a easy recipe with you all! Enjoy your #healthyholidays! Shoot me a message if you want more information about this recipe or to order some MRS Shakes for yourself!
