I am not going to lie; I picked up this tea based solely on the name - Stress Relief. The honey lavender flavor sounds appealing, but really I was going for the stress relief. When I got it home I did some research on the benefits of the actual type of tea and was very happy with what I had chosen.
* Low in Tannins: Tannins can interfere with the body's absorption of iron. I already struggle to make sure I am getting enough iron as I do not eat any red meat. Knowing that what I am eating & drinking is NOT interfering with my iron absorption is GREAT!
* May help treat allergies. What?!?! I live in TEXAS so this is GREAT news! I will take anything that may help me avoid the medicine aisle!
* Caffeine free so you can drink it without worrying about getting too much caffeine during the day. I am relieved that I am not having to choose between my morning cup of coffee and my tea, plus I can drink this tea before bed!
* Antioxidants, nutrition and MORE! There is a lot of research about how GOOD FOR YOU this tea is on so many different levels. I would encourage you to read through some of the articles below to learn more about how this tea can be beneficial for your specific needs!
I don't know about you; but I plan on adding this tea to my daily intake!
