Meal Replacement Shake Mug Cake!
Yes! It's possible!
I've seen a ton of different recipes for this out there & they are ALL very simple.
Each recipe calls for your choice of AdvoCare Meal Replacement Shake ~ even the AdvoGreens variety will work!
The official AdvoCare recipe also calls for:
1/4t Baking Powder
2 Egg Whites (or 1 whole egg)
1/2C water
I have also tried the recipe with just 1/3C water and your choice of AdvoCare Meal Replacement Shake.
You can also use your choice of healthy toppings!
In my opinion; the recipe with the addition of egg whites comes out a bit spongy, almost like a heavy souffle... The recipe with just the water comes out a bit dry, I mean it IS just a meal replacement shake and water.
In the end I prefer the one with just water and depending on the flavor I can top it with home made peanut butter and/or a little honey.
If you just add water the nutrition facts for the Meal Replacement Shake are below. If you use the recipe with the addition of egg whites you will need to modify your nutrition count.
As always I recommend My Fitness Pal to help with all your nutrition tracking! It's an amazing and FREE tool! Back in 2017 I featured My Fitness Pal in a blog post to demonstrate how hard it is to know what you are actually eating without tracking it. You can check that post out HERE.
Stay tuned for more recipes & feedback on them!
