This is the workout for AgriLife Extension Services (South Campus) that was performed on 10/17/23.
Warm Up (5-10 minutes)
12 of each exercise - repeat while reviewing exercises in the circuit.
- Quad Stretch Extensions
- Dynamic Lateral Lunge
- Scoop
Circuit
20 sec work | 10 sec rest | 8 times
1. Mountain Climber - knee to opposite arm
2. Tap Back - from step, stay low
3. Alternating Toe Touch - core, reach to opposite toe, alternate sides
4. Jabs - balance on one foot
5. Surrenders - kneel to squat, arms at head
6. Arm Climb - Plank Up Downs
7. Chops - split kneel
8. "Pop Squat" - can step as option
9. Seated Knee Tuck
Cool down / Stretch (5-10 minutes)
This workout is intended for a class setting and not designed for a specific individual. Modifications & weight adjustments are made on site and as needed. Supervision is provided during the scheduled class times for participants in the wellness program. Please follow sensible exercise practices and seek the advice of a medical or wellness professional if you have not worked out in a while or have other health concerns.
