This is the workout for AgriLife Extension Services (South Campus) that was performed on 2/13/24.
Warm Up (5-10 minutes)
12 of each exercise - repeat while reviewing exercises in the circuit.
- Quad Stretch Extensions
- Dynamic Lateral Lunge
- Scoop
Circuit
For each exercise: 20 sec work | 10 sec rest | 8 times
1. Suspended Knee Lift - hang from rack, can use step to help reach the bar
2. Stand & Press - single dumbbell, suggested weight 20lb
3. Flutter Kicks - lay on back, kick straight legs, can also do in hollow hold position
4. Sumo Squat to Upright Row - cable
5. Stability Ball Passover
6. Brazil Lunge - weighted, suggested weight 2X 10lb dumbbells
7. Split Kneel Chops - suggested weight 10lb dumbbell
8. Renegade Row - suggested weight 2X 15lb dumbbells
9. Pop Squat - can step for option
Cool down / Stretch (5-10 minutes)
This workout is intended for a class setting and not designed for a specific individual. Modifications & weight adjustments are made on site and as needed. Supervision is provided during the scheduled class times for participants in the wellness program. Please follow sensible exercise practices and seek the advice of a medical or wellness professional if you have not worked out in a while or have other health concerns.
