This is the workout for AgriLife Extension Services (South Campus) that was performed on 2/20/24.
Warm Up (5-10 minutes)
12 of each exercise - repeat while reviewing exercises in the circuit.
- Quad Stretch Extensions
- Dynamic Lateral Lunge
- Scoop
Circuit
For each exercise: 20 sec work | 10 sec rest | 8 times
1. Suspension Fall Out - from knees at suspension trainer, press arms straight out in front
2. Single Leg Stand - from bench
3. Single Clean & Press - pick weight up from floor & press overhead
4. Squat with Front Raise
5. Oblique Roll Up - suggested weight 8lbs
6. Gorilla Row - alternating, keep back side still
7. Plank w/ Double Knee Tuck (or Pike) - discs
8. Single Leg Deadlift B Stance - suggested weight 2X 20lb dumbbells
9. Single Leg Lower w/ Crunch - can hold plate up, can also turn plate
Cool down / Stretch (5-10 minutes)
This workout is intended for a class setting and not designed for a specific individual. Modifications & weight adjustments are made on site and as needed. Supervision is provided during the scheduled class times for participants in the wellness program. Please follow sensible exercise practices and seek the advice of a medical or wellness professional if you have not worked out in a while or have other health concerns.
