This is the workout for AgriLife Extension Services (South Campus) that was performed on 3/15/24.
Warm Up (5-10 minutes)
12 of each exercise - repeat while reviewing exercises in the circuit.
- Quad Stretch Extensions
- Dynamic Lateral Lunge
- Scoop
Circuit
For each exercise: 20 sec work | 10 sec rest | 8 times
1. Pull Ups - from squat rack with bar high, can jump or prop feet, slow on the way down
2. Bench Jump Over - from plank position on bench, hop or step feet over the bench
3. Landmine Press - large bar
4. RFE Split Squat - rear foot elevated, can hold dumbbell in hand that matches foot that is back
5. Step Down - just tap the floor, no weight transfer, stand up straight on top of step
6. Spiderman Forearm Plank - sliders
7. Overhead Squat - stand at wall, small bar
8. Side Lunge - slider
9. Pop Squat
Cool down / Stretch (5-10 minutes)
This workout is intended for a class setting and not designed for a specific individual. Modifications & weight adjustments are made on site and as needed. Supervision is provided during the scheduled class times for participants in the wellness program. Please follow sensible exercise practices and seek the advice of a medical or wellness professional if you have not worked out in a while or have other health concerns.
